Grand Opening! The Barn at Rock Creek

Posted on 07 December 2013

We were fortunate enough to be invited to the grand opening of our area’s newest venue…the Barn at Rock Creek.  While we didn’t quite know what to expect, we were absolutely smitten when we got there! It is unlike anything else we’ve seen in the area and we know that it will prove to be one of the most popular. The barn, the pond, the beautiful trees, the gravel driveway…we love it all.

As soon as you walk in, you notice something different. This is so much more than a barn. You notice detail after detail after detail.

The chandeliers, the built in but hide-able flat screen, the beautiful custom bar...this is not your run of the mill blank shell of a venue.  It’s got charm and character and function! When we were adding up all of the features, we knew there was a great mastermind behind it all. That’s when we were introduced to owners Leslie and Sten Taube.

We quickly learned that the construction of the venue had been a labor of love, more specifically a labor of their love! The concept of the barn came from a need to bring to life the fairy tale wedding of Lesley’s dreams. They put so much time, effort, and detail into everything they did to make it perfect for their big day. Which means, it will be perfect for yours! Who wouldn’t want a venue designed for brides by a bride?!

We can’t wait to see all of the amazing events that take place in the upcoming years at the Barn at Rock Creek. Be sure to check out their website and learn all about the history, venue and contact details.

Kudos to Charyl Williams from Social Butterfly and all of the other participating vendors for putting on such a great party: Ward Hair Studio, Pine Valley Market, Alexis Scott Designs, Party Suppliers, One Belle Bakery, Fiore Fine Flowers, Southern Bee Designs, and High Performance Lighting.
